Christian Home Educators Stark County Association
CHESCA supports and encourages parents committed to educating their children at home. Decidedly Christian and family-oriented, CHESCA seeks to serve homeschooling parents through activities, encouraging fellowship and seminars, and political involvement. CHESCA is open to like-minded homeschoolers of all ages, shapes and sizes!
CHESCA was formed in 1983, and currently consists of
117 member families from all over Stark County in northeast Ohio, as well as Summit, Mahoning,
Wayne, Jefferson, Carroll and Portage counties. Football's Hall-of-Fame Canton is in the center of Stark
County, with Akron about 20 miles to the north.

The Northeast Ohio Home Educators Conference (NEOHEC) is coming again! Make plans now to attend this huge event for homeschoolers of all levels. Workshops, seminars, and a great used booksale are all planned. Preliminary information available now, with more details to come!
